I love to perform as an instrumentalist or singer, but to me, the ultimate performance instrument is the orchestra!  There are few experiences to compare with the joy of working with musician colleagues to craft a performance of a great work of art, and then to sharing it with an appreciative audience. I have been privileged to conduct many fine groups, ranging from volunteer organizations, like church orchestras and the Hernando Symphony Orchestra in Spring Hill, FL, to professional musicians in Chicago, Nashville and Indianapolis.  I've conducted for church musicals and services, on the concert stage and in the recording studio.
